I redesigned the Web site in 2000. It was a modest, but pretty site, but lacked all the components I thought it needed to be a good travel site.
Later, I was Art Director for the Magazine for a few months and got to know it very well. So, when it came time to redesign the site, it was not difficult to understand its needs. I created maps in Illustrator of every island in the Caribbean. The end result was a very convenient map popup which could be accessed from anywhere in the site. We also streemlined all the content and the content entry.
